Eagles Inn (Tafarn Yr Eryrod)Llanuwchllyn
An early 18th century traditional stone built family run village local opposite (and older than) the adjacent closed church. A very friendly welcome awaits anyone who seeks out this little gem just off the A494. The bar area that doubles up as a shop open most of the day has plenty of historic features including ceiling meat hooks and a wonderful stone floor. Adjacent restaurant serves highly rated locally produced food. The patio garden has good mountain views. The beers are almost always from local breweries. It is a 10 minute walk to Llanuwchllyn station on the Bala lake railway (with trains to Bala).
