Branch Awards

Vale of Clwyd Branch Pub of the Year 2016

Congratulations to John and Elsie. Colomendy Arms, Cadole, was selected as our branch pub of the year 2016. As with previous years, we rely on members to nominate pubs which then go on to a formal assessment using the national CAMRA Pub of the Year criteria.

The ‘Colly’ has won many CAMRA awards with John and Elsie in charge, also celebrating 25 years in the Good Beer Guide this year. The local pub landscape has changed considerably in that time, but little has changed at the Colly and it remains ‘unspoilt by progress’, maintaining those indefinable qualities that define a great pub!
